It's a funny clip; and the Daily Show is fun to watch -- lots of laughs. (Umgangssprache: it's a hoot.)

Nonetheless, most people in the US know "affordable housing" eventually means, in most cases, squalor and increased crime, all subsidized by taxpayers. In this case, it also means, effectively, a wage subsidy for Disneyland -- sort of a classic case of privatizing profits (what Disney earns by paying low wages) and socializing costs (taxpayers pay part of the cost of the housing where Disney workers live). The odd thing is, most of the 'liberals' who promote affordable housing don't seem to realize that they are subsidizing big business and its profits. Oder vielleicht machen sie keine Sorgen darüber.
